Background

An award-winning digital native, DHW is an experienced digital artist and ex-TV creative director with a track record in 3D animation, VFX (see here), games, plus advertising & design starting with his time @ WPP – the world’s largest advertising company.

Back in 2003 DHW started work on what is believed to be the first 3D PFP generator, which he beta launched in summer 2005, six years before 'Androidify', Larva Labs' 2011 predecessor to CryptoPunks (2017). For more on this see here and www.pfporigins.com

DHW inscribed over 75 of his 3D PFP generator artifacts from 2004-2007 as Ordinals in February 2023 in order to preserve them for posterity - some of these are listed on Magic Eden; more info.

AI/glitch artist

DHW joined the crypto art space at the start of 2021. While DHW is an enthusiastic adopter of AI as an artist's tool. His earliest AI art pieces use his own original oil paintings/artworks as the input source.

DHW's AI pieces include additional creative processes, giving them a unique quality; differentiating his work from the prevalent look and feel of contemporary AI art.
